If you don't want to spend quite as much money on an infant carrier as the Pebble Plus, Pro or Smart then the Rock is a great alternative. Though it isn't quite as feature heavy, it is really easy to use and is still i-Size tested when used with a compatible Maxi-Cosi i-Size ISOFIX base. You can be assured of the best safety, including the improved impact-absorbing materials and side impact protection within the shell of the seat. Thanks to the comfortable inlay a newborn can enjoy security in a cosy environment.
The current safety guidelines advise that newborn babies are not left in their car seat for longer than 30 minutes. For babies 2-6 months, no longer than 2 hours. It is also safer to keep your child rear-facing for as long as possible - a minimum of 15 months but ideally 4 years. A child should never be in their harnessed car seat with a thick winter coat or snowsuit on.
